January is upon us and with is the colder temperatures, harsh winds and drifts of snow. To withstand these challenging conditions, winter layering is a key factor. Layering clothes during winter is comparable to building a fortress against the cold, where each layer plays a crucial role in ensuring warmth and comfort. It's a strategic art form that combines functionality with style to create a shield against the outer elements.

Accessories such as scarves, gloves, beanies, and thick socks add an extra layer of protection, safeguarding vulnerable areas and ensuring no avenue for the cold to penetrate. These accessories not only serve a functional purpose but also contribute to the overall warmth and style, completing the ensemble.

In this week's look, Pierre is wearing a warming, wool tweed blazer from Studio 73, featuring a houndstooth pattern in shades of black, brown, orange and green. Underneath, he's wearing a cable-knitted lambswool shawl collar cardigan in navy blue from William Lockie and a light blue striped shirt in a sturdy oxford cotton fabric from Stenströms. The look is completed with warming accessories namely a checked cashmere scarf from Johnstons of Elgin, suede gloves from Werner Christ and a cashmere beanie from William Lockie
