De Bonne Facture takes its name from the same French expression, which describes a way of doing things well. It's an expression that can be used for a poem as well as for a piece of clothing. It's a way of saying that design is inseparable from craft and that they are bound together in the quality of the garment. Through this expression, the brand creates timeless pieces with a modern touch.

For this season, De Bonne Facture has collaborated with Gloverall, the classic British coat maker best known for the duffle coats, and together created the Undyed Shepherds Check Duffle Coat. Crafted from an exclusive undyed Scottish wool from Lovat Mills, as well as a Noire du Velay wool from Auvergne, woven in Mazamet by local mill Le Passe-Trame.

The coat is combined with a taupe beige chunky-knitted full-zip cardigan from Gran Sasso, crafted from a soft wool-cashmere mix, and a pair of ecru white jeans from COF Studio, made of pure Japanese Kuroki cotton. The look is completed with a pair of pinner brown original curling boots from Sanders, made of a suede leather upper and a sturdy rubber sole.
