Nestled in the Baltic Sea, the island of Öland emerges as a radiant jewel during the summer months. Known as Sweden's second-largest island, Öland transforms into a paradise for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and those seeking tranquillity and inspiration. The blend of its rich heritage, diverse landscapes, and vibrant local culture makes Öland the perfect summer destination, and it's where we choose to carry out our summer lookbook.
In summer, Öland's natural beauty reaches its zenith. The island is famous for its unique alvars and expansive limestone plains that bloom with a stunning array of wildflowers. As you wander through these open landscapes, you’ll be greeted by vibrant orchids, fragrant thyme, and the delicate beauty of bluebells, creating a painter’s palette of colours against the limestone backdrop.
Stepping into Öland is like stepping into a living museum. The island is home to numerous historical sites that echo the stories of bygone eras. The Borgholm Castle, with its majestic ruins, stands as a testament to medieval grandeur. The Eketorp Fortress offers a glimpse into the Iron Age, with reconstructed buildings and artefacts that bring history to life.
Given the island's historical heritage and natural beauty, our summer lookbook includes classic workwear pieces such as overshirts, lightweight outerwear and summery knits. The garments are accompanied by seasonal accessories along with comfortable shoes.
