Let us present this brown houndstooth sahariana jacket from De Petrillo of Napoli. This beautiful piece is made of a wool-cashmere mix, woven in Italy by the renowned weaver Loro Piana. The Sahariana jacket was originally made for the Italian police in Africa during WWII, where the belted waist along with the collar and cuffs of a shirt was the standard features of this model. De Petrillo’s version has also been fitted with four front pockets with inverted pleats and an unlined interior. It features several details made by hand, such as the buttonholes and shoulder attachment.
